Information about thesis writing
Dear Third-Year Environmental Engineering Students!
The condition for obtaining the diploma is the preparation of a thesis and the defense of the final exam.
In the semester preceding the planned preparation of the thesis , a topic must be chosen, the main ideas regarding the thesis should be written down in the "Preliminary thesis idea paper".

The submitted sketches are evaluated by the management of the institute and an internal consultant is being selected. The outline (sketch) approved by the consultant must be finalized in the semester of writing the thesis , because the „Final task of thesis” is being prepared on this basis.
According to the students interests, they can choose from the topics suggested by the lecturers of the institute or an external topic, e.g. research, measurement, etc. during the internship.

The topics of the thesis announced by the lecturers will be uploaded to the Neptun system, the precondition of which is the consultation with the lecturer announcing the topic. External, unique topics brought by the student are recorded by the internal consultants in the Neptune system, which the student must apply to. In all cases, the Thesis course can only be taken in the following semester if the topic is accepted by the instructor in Neptune system.

The deadline for the preparation and uploading of the thesis and the instructions for the preparation of the thesis (formal requirements) are set out in the Study and Examination Regulations:
